Dear Mama,
I see your desire to feel steady in yourself.
To feel clear, grounded and more self-trusting.
You want to respond to your children in ways that align with who you know you are.
You would love to pause and reflect before reacting in repetitive loops.
reacting in repetitive loops.
The key to all of this is to know yourself deeply.
To understand your inner world, to practise open curiosity, to mother yourself.
Enter Mum Parts Monthly
A once-a-month, one-hour gathering where you can press pause, reflect and gently explore your inner world in the context of motherhood.
This is a supportive, intimate space to:
- Understand why you react the way you do
- Meet yourself with compassion instead of criticism
- Feel less alone in the emotional complexity of motherhood
- Reconnect with steadiness, clarity, and self trust
Nothing matters more than how well you are.
Mum Parts Monthly is about prioritising you; your inner world, your wellbeing, your capacity.
You will learn about yourself in a supportive space that doesn’t expect you to share but to simply reflect.
Mum Parts Monthly will give you the language and permission to be honest with yourself and soften the shame and guilt you feel, so that you spend less time on edge and more time feeling grounded and calm.
Think of this like a full body exhale for your nervous system.
Here's how it works:
Each month, we choose one recent experience from your motherhood. Something that’s lingered, activated you, or left you feeling unsettled.
Together, we identify which parts of you showed up or are still present. From there, we work through ways to bring understanding, compassion, and steadiness to your inner system
We’ll move through a simple five-step method offering a repeatable process that allows you to relate to yourself with curiosity, not judgement.
You’ll get to know the different parts of you, connecting you deeply with the truth of your motherhood experience, your authenticity and opening up a channel for you to heal your internal wounds.
The approach we use:
Our time together is grounded in an Internal Family Systems approach, using the five-step Mum Parts Method, created by Jessica Tomich Sorci – a mother-centred framework that recognises there are no “bad” parts and all internal voices are welcome.
You don’t need to know anything about IFS to join.
You only need curiosity about yourself and a willingness to explore your inner world.
Mum Parts Monthly supports you to:
- Tap into your internal resources
- Build deeper trust in your inner system
- Meet reactivity with curiosity, not criticism
- Lessen shame by understanding why parts show up
- Grow awareness and understanding that it is normal and acceptable to have a wide range of internal experiences related to motherhood
Mum parts monthly is a once a month, 1 hour online gathering
Each monthly group is limited to 8 mums and you are welcome to come once, or return regularly. The more you practice this method, the more you will gain a deeper connection with your parts and self.

It was a full body yes!
I first came across the Mum Parts Method when I listened to a podcast conversation between Jessica Tomich Sorci and Dr Sophie Brock.
Something in me immediately lit up.
I googled Jessica, read everything I could about the Mum Parts Method she had developed, and signed up for the next available practitioner training.
Not only had I been working personally with an IFS-trained counsellor for the past two years (and found the approach deeply insightful and supportive)
but I had also been listening to mums speak about their ‘parts’ naturally for years. In circles, in 1:1 sessions, and in group work, mothers were already naming these inner experiences intuitively.
So when I discovered there was a mother-centred approach using IFS, I knew I needed to learn more.
I’m not an IFS practitioner or therapist. What I am is a skilled space-holder, with expertise in motherhood and matrescence.
I’m trained to support mums like you with this work, and I remain closely mentored by Jessica as I continue toward certification as a mothercentred practitioner this year.
This is an invitation to sit with me and a small group of mums in an embodied, experiential space where you can get to know your inner world with curiosity and compassion, and begin to understand why you respond and react the way you do.

I'm Ali
I am deeply passionate about holding space for mothers as they navigate the transformative journey of motherhood.
As a motherhood mentor and postpartum doula, I center the mother in everything I do, offering emotional, physical, and spiritual support to help you feel less alone and more connected to your intuition.
My work is rooted in compassion and guided by the belief that when a mother is nourished, supported, and seen, she is empowered to care for her children with ease and joy.
My own motherhood journey has taught me the importance of acknowledging grief, finding strength in vulnerability, and embracing the complexity of motherhood.
It’s this lived experience, paired with professional training, that allows me to guide and support mothers in becoming the most centered, compassionate versions of themselves.
Because when mothers are seen, heard, and held, they thrive—and so do their families.
Please note…
Internal Family Systems is an evidence based model of psychotherapy supporting people to feel greater self-acceptance and inner calm.
Doing this internal work is not a great idea for mums who have severe trauma histories that have not been explored in therapy.
Mum Parts Monthly is designed to support you in identifying and befriending your parts but is not a substitute for IFS therapy or any therapy for that matter.
