About Ali
I will listen and be present with my whole heart, body and mind.
Hi, I’m Ali and I’m here for mothers.
I am a postpartum doula, matrescence educator and guide, certified motherhood studies practitioner and womens circle facilitator. I’m a mum of two boys, a wife, sister, daughter and friend. I live amongst the trees in Kallista in the Dandenong Ranges of Melbourne.
My vibe is warm, supportive and sensitive. My favourite thing is to cut the small talk and dive deep in conversation. I love to sit with you. Journey with you. Listen. Witness. Share. Understand. I am always up for a cuppa and a chat.
Before having babies, I was a speech pathologist, but after the birth of my first son I followed my love of all things motherhood, consuming everything that piqued my interest. This led me to where I am today, placing the mother and her experiences at the centre of focus and importance.
Today, I see the birth of a mother as a rite of passage that deserves intention, ceremony, reverence and ritual.
I’m passionate about building a mother’s resources and community and inspired by the potential of transformation in motherhood. I recognise the importance of mothers and highlight and support their needs, well-being and empowerment.
I’m passionate. I’m committed. I believe deeply in this work. I am here to help you claim your power, encourage you, support you and hold space for you. I am here in the excitement and uncertainty of pregnancy and those vulnerable early postpartum days. I am here for you as you navigate this sacred rite of passage. I am here for you as you connect to the new you. I am here for you in motherhood.
I will listen and be present with my whole heart, body and mind.
I can’t wait to walk alongside you.
